All of our products come with free one time installation, free access to updates for one year and up to 60 days of free technical support.
Free Technical Support
- INSTALLATION
We provide free 1 time installation of any of our products on your Joomla CMS administrator panel. We will install the components within 24 hours during business days.
Make sure that your hosting (or server) meets the minimum requirements for the component that you are purchasing.
Your Joomla CMS administrator panel must be ready for the installation at the time the service is rendered.
SUPPORT
Free 60 days support is offered to customer who bought the PRO version of our components, whilst the Standard version includes only 30 days support from the day of purchase.
This includes support for helping you to get our component 'up and running' on your Joomla CMS and answering any questions you may have regarding general 'how to' manual/component usage or its features.
Free support does NOT include:
- Install Joomla CMS, any other components not offered by Joomla@ComdevWeb.com on your server
- Installation of upgrades, updated files or patches
- Installation of plug-ins, modules that provided with the component
- Modify the source code of the component
- Modify the source code of any plug-ins, modules for the component
- Custom changes in the functionality or design of the component
- Custom design or programming service
- Help or consultation related to modify the source code of the component.
- Fixes or help related to change made to the source code
- Future server changes, site upgrades or site moves (this includes Joomla CMS moves / upgrades)
- Server configuration, setup or support
- Installation of PHP, MySQL, any other server modules/extensions
- Fix / re-install the component because of:-
- a change that you have made to Joomla CMS
- changes that you have made to the source code
- a change that your web host had made
- server crash, site moves, or site upgrades (this includes Joomla CMS moves / upgrades)
- Free support is offered as a service and can be denied at any time for any reason
Free support is available to all customers who abide by the license agreement, and has made a valid purchase through Joomla.ComdevWeb.com. Joomla@ComdevWeb.com is not responsible and cannot offer support for additions, modification or changes made to the source code of our component. Free support is offered only to the domain name that the software is installed on and only the person who purchases the software from Joomla@ComdevWeb.com and agrees to our license agreement. In the future if either of these changes then free support will no longer be available for the new domain or owner. The new owner will have to pay for technical service.
Free Updates
You will granted access to free updates for any component that you purchase from Joomla@ComdevWeb.com for 1 year. For instance, you purchase a UrComment PRO 1.0 you will receive any free updates for UrComment PRO made up to one year from your purchase date. This also includes new version (example UrComment PRO 2.x, 3.x, etc) as long as they are released within a year of your purchase date.
If you purchased the Standard version, you will receive only updated files from Standard version, you will not / cannot access to the updated files from PRO version, and vice versa.
Updates can be downloaded free of charge and installed by yourself. We do not offer free installation on updates. Updates may include many changes and may not work correctly if installed over another version of our components. If the updates include new version, they may need to be installed as a new copy. Installing updates may require you to manually make changes ot the database structure.
** Free updates does NOT include:
- Upgrade from Standard to PRO version
- Downgrade from PRO to Standard version
- Installation of the updated files
- Installation of the updated files for plug-ins / modules of component
- Installation of updates / upgrades of Joomla CMS or other components not offered by Joomla@ComdevWeb.com
- Modify the source code of the updated files
- Custom changes in the functionality or design of the updated files
- Custom design or programming service
- Help or consultation related to modify the source code of updated files
- Fixes or help related to change made to the source code of updated files
- Future server changes, site upgrades or site moves (this includes Joomla CMS moves / upgrades)
- Server configuration, setup or support
- Installation of PHP, MySQL, any other server modules/extensions
- Fix / re-install the updated files because of:-
- a change that you have made to Joomla CMS
- changes that you have made to the source code
- a change that your web host had made
- server crash, site moves, or site upgrades (this includes Joomla CMS moves / upgrades)
Upgrade
You may upgrade from Standard to PRO version. If you upgrade within 1 year from your purchase date, you can buy the upgrade package at Upgrade Price. This upgrade package extends the initial 30 days of free support, and will start after your 30 days of free support are up. The upgrade package does not extend your initial 12 months access of free updates. All rules and conditions that apply to the 60 days free support also apply to this upgrade package. Upgrade package is also abide by the License Agreement.
Upgrades after your initial 1 year period can be purchased at full price of the PRO version, and it includes 60 days of free support, and 1 year access to free updates for PRO.
You can downgrade from PRO to Standard version at any time. Downgrade would require you to buy the Standard version at full price, and may need to be installed as new copy.
** These conditions applied to upgrade/downgrade. Upgrade package has to be installed by yourself, we do not offer free installation for upgrades.

You may request additional service if you're in rush and would like to get assistance or support. Contact us for consultation and pricing.
Our technical service is incident-based. An incident is a single issue, problem or question related to our component, regardless the volume of correspondence required to solve it.
Limitation of Liability
You assume all risk associated with the installation and use of the software (including without limitation all associated with administration). In no event shall Joomla.ComdevWeb.com be liable whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence (whether active, passive or imputed), product liability or strict liability or other theory), for cover or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages ( including without limitation any loss of profits or data, business interruption, computer failure or other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use or inability to use the software or performance of any related services, irrespective of, even if Comdev Software Sdn Bhd has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
